役目を終えた様々な鉄製品たち。真っ赤に熱して、金槌でぺちゃんこになるまで叩き、つなぎ合わせて、また叩く。このプロセスを何度も繰り返すと、複数の道具たちは一枚の鉄板に近づきながら、ところどころにに道具の名残を見せてくれます。その姿はまるで、岩肌から顔を出す化石のよう。レコード盤サイズの円盤状に仕立て、ルーペを仕込んだトーンアームを添えて。LPプレーヤーに見立てたこのオブジェクトは、アームを自在に動かして、円盤上の化石観察をお楽しみいただけます。

Various iron products that have finished their role. Heat it bright red, hit it with a hammer until it is flat, splice it, and hit it again. If you repeat this process many times, the tools will look like a single iron plate, but in some places you will see the remnants of the tools. Its appearance is like a fossil that emerges from the rock surface. It is shaped like a vinyl record and has a tone arm with a loupe attached. In this work, which looks like an LP player, you can freely move the tone arm and enjoy "fossil observation" on the disk.
