様々な鉄製品をぺちゃんこになるまで叩き、アルファベットに再構築。叩いて産まれた有機的なフォルムは、フリーハンドで描かれた絵文字のようです。複数使いでサインにしたり、単品でアクセントにしたり、様々な展開ができるのが鉄文字の醍醐味です。この「W」は、犬釘を叩いて作っています。犬釘とは鉄道のレールと枕木を固定するための釘です。
