■鉄文字
様々な鉄製品をぺちゃんこになるまで叩き、アルファベットに再構築。叩いて産まれた有機的なフォルムは、フリーハンドで描かれた絵文字のようです。複数使いでサインにしたり、単品でアクセントにしたり、様々な展開ができるのが鉄文字の醍醐味です。この「F」は自転車の荷台の一部と、スクラップ屋さんで入手した謎の端材を組み合わせて作りました。謎の端材とは、大きな板から何らかのカタチが切り抜かれたものです。
Various iron products are beaten until they are flattened and reconstructed into alphabets. The organic forms produced by beating are like pictographs drawn freehand. The real appeal of iron letters is that they can be developed in a variety of ways, whether used in multiple ways as a sign or as a single piece to accentuate a piece.This "F" was made by combining part of a bicycle rack and a mysterious scrap piece of wood obtained from a scrap shop. Mysterious scraps are pieces of some shape cut out of a large board.
